Is a pnchbuggy, and volts waggon the same car?

Question 1
Is a pnchbuggy, and volts waggon the same car?...

Answers
1)   yes and no

a volks wagon is the brand of the car just like ford or honda

volks wagon made the bug - miss.murder

2)   Is a pnchbuggy, and volts waggon the same car? Your spelling is so atrocious that the spell checker couldn't figure it out.. - SVOMAN

3)   The Volkswagon Beetle is considered a punchbuggie. So if you see a red VW beetle, you yell out "punchbuggie red" and punch the shoulder of the person next to you. - kb9pvj

4)   kb9pvj"s answer sounds good to me. Their explanation sounds logical and I have heard the phrase 'punch buggy' about 35 years ago but here in the midwest we played ...slug a bug... That was what we called the game where you spot a Volkswagon bug and .. slug.. the person next to you. Volkswagon is german volk means people wagon means car so when they started making these cars that were for the mass population that they could afford the name peoples car or "volkswagon" is what they called their brand of cars. - Jimbob

5)   OK now I get it!!!!!
Read this question this morning and kinda went.....HUH?

You're talking about a SLUG-BUG !!!!!!

Here's the rules.
When driving with family or friends (in my case my son who taught me the game) whomever see's a Volkswagon bug, beetle, super beetle or new beetle first gets to slug the person next to them in the arm.

Scoring goes..
Newer beetle = 1pt
Older beetle or bug = 2pts

If two people see the bug at the same time they both slug eachother but no point is scored.

The game lasts as long as the trip lasts, then starts over from zero next trip.

And if your playing with your child he is allowed to slug you as hard as he can but you can only give him light love taps. (just common sense).

Have fun! - Dave

Question 2
2001 Sebring Conv. with bad fuel pump... is it worth buying?...  I'm looking into getting a 2001 Sebring Convertible. It has just over 100K and has a bad fuel pump -- but otherwise in good condition. The person is charging $700 for the car and it will cost approx. $600 for my mechanic to fix the fuel pump. Do you think it is worth buying or should I look into something else?
Thanks for your answers so far :) About the engine... I don't think it's a Mitsubishi... I think those were only in the 1996-2000's.

Answers
1)   At $700 it's hard to go wrong. Of course if you can't test drive it because the pump is completely out then you may want to consider the source. - billy25685

2)   Ask your mechanic if it has the Mitsubishit engine? If it does run away as fast as you can. They do not last.If the engine has not been rebuilt yet it will need to be done soon.Ask them how much that costs and you will not buy this car.Ask yourself "why is this car so cheap?" - Hey You

3)   $600 for a fuel pump is a ripoff. Chances are the car is completely blown out and will cost $1k+ to get it in working order. Buyer beware. - Travis Gunter

4)   Chrysler hasn't had the best track record for reliability. If it has the 2.7L V6 engine you're probably looking at expensive engine repairs eventually. On the other hand to buy a car that runs well now for $1300, and a convertible to boot is a pretty good find. - Carguy

Question 4
how do i remove the front bumper to my 2001 pt cruiser?...

Answers
1)   get a chained hook and hook it on the bumper now put the other end on another car.......reve the engine and RIP IT OFF - Dr.Hotty

2)   u might just wanna climb under it, find the bolts and take em off.... - Luke V

3)   First you need to know how to disable the sensor for the airbag. You wouldn't want to buy a new airbag because you bumped the sensor. After that you crawl underneath and look for fasteners. Unplug any lights that are mounted to the bumper and remove any fasteners for braces on the corners. I always remove the hardest to see and the hardest to reach first leaving one on each side for last and get them broke loose. Then if there is someone else handy I will have them grab the bumper while I remove the last 2 fasteners. If no one is available to help I do it myself but it is easier to prevent scratches if someone else can hold it while you remove the last 2 bolts - Jimbob

Question 5
how to fix a blown head gasket for a 1998 chyrslar concorde?...  want to fix my car but how do i fix this?

Answers
1)   this happened to me six months ago. you have to remove the cams to get to the head bolts. you gotta have it magnafluxed. honestly take it to a shop if your not a trained mechanic. it will cost you about 2500 to get it fixed there. - mike l

2)   To repair a blown head gasket, you have to remove the heads, have them it checked for cracks and warping, put a new gasket in, and reinstall the head, making sure to torque the bolts correctly. You then have to reinstall the timing belt, and put the rest of the engine back together.

This is a major job that requires disassembling of most of the engine.

With the age of the car, you may want to put in another engine from a scrapyard instead. - fire4511

3)   This repair is well beyond the range of average repair and if not done correctly will be a source of frustration, a trusty mom and pop shop will work as well - dakota97slowpar
