Question 1
i drive a 1996 chrysler sebring approx 126000 i just got an oil change and the oil light keeps coming on?...  it comes on when i stop at a light, but it goes off when i drive. I parked it flat infront of my house and checked the oil. It was clean but only to the add line. I add a qt, but it keeps happening. I am not leaking oil, so where is ll my oil going

Answers
1)   ...Your Engine must be "Burning" the Oil...not enough to be noticeable..but "Enough"...My Son has a 1993 ( Chrysler Product) Jeep Grand Cherokee...with the same dilemma..........And one more thing!..I don't know if your Sebring has a "Oil Level" sensor like my Sons Jeep...but his Oil light came on for no reason until we changed that sensor.( Its located on the side of the Oil pan)..There is one product which "might" help ...it certainly would not hurt your engine....and it costs about $10.00 / Pint Bottle, its called "Lucas" Oil Stabilizer, and its good for older engines. Replace one pint of your regular oil with this "Lucas"..and see if it helps. have been using this stuff for about 15 years...And I'm pleased with the results!...Oh Yes.."Lucas" is very Thick!!..You need to warm the Container in a Pan of Hot water for about an hour.....otherwise it pours like Cold Tar. - Richard G

2)   if it's full of oil they may have knocked off the wire for the pressure switch. take the car back to where you had the oil changed. - badbill1941

3)   The oil pressure sending unit is probably bad. - C-Tech

4)   The first thing I would do is have a mechanic check your oil pressure with an oil gauge when fully warmed up. If the pressure is above 5 LBS at idle then it is the oil pressure switch that needs changing. If the pressure is below 5 LBS, then you have an engine problem. - Jackolantern

Question 2
Chrysler Crossfire 12 cylinder engine?...  Were any Chrysler Crossfires equipped with a 12 cylinder engine. I thought for sure I saw one on a showroom floor once with one installed from the factory. Was I right? If so, please furnish confirmation link.
Thanks, in advance, for your reply.
Did the 6 cylinder use 2 spark plugs per cylinder?

Answers
1)   no. it might have been a concept though, so possibly - NiCk

2)   No. The only concept I know of is the chrysler 4-12 which never made it to production.

For reference...that's similar to the setup of the Bugatti Veyron. V12 and quad turbochargers. (the bugatti uses a W12 from VW which is basically a more compact 12 cylinder engine)

The crossfire shipped with either a 4 cylinder engine or an srt-6 engine (v6) both naturally aspirated engines. - Hank Scorpio

3)   No 12 cylinder Crossfires. There are 2 sparkplugs per cylinder. The SRT-6 was a supercharged 3.2L V6. No 4 cylinder Crossfires. - C-Tech

what is the best, street legal engine that one can install to a 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner?...

Answers
1)   That 600 hp 8.4L Viper V10 motor - Kenny

2)   If I had the money I'd go with a Ray Barton Hemi. He can build an engine to last forever on the street driving at street legal speeds. http://www.raybarton.com/customer2.htm

Of course an Arrington 6.1 Hemi isn't a bad idea either, http://www.fasthemis.com/426hemicrateenginebyarringtonengines.aspx modern technology, good MPG with '60's factory horsepower numbers. - Don't know everything !

3)   Any engine without a supercharger. - Jackolantern
