4)   Basicly yes and no, It is a manufactured car for primarly america, as far as owned, like in the stock market no. Controlling shares were owned by MBZ and now I think Fiat, It was since it was traded on the S&p 500 but not anymore. As far as if it is considered a american made car no, by federal law in order for a car to be called american made, I think 65% of the parts have to be made in the USA and the only company that holds that rank in the #1 postion is Honda ( its how they avoid huge import taxes, since it is a japenese held company) But a Chrysler product is assembled 100% in the USA for US sales.

thinking of buying a new chrysler? good car brand?...  well i liked this 2002 chrysler, and i never had a chrysler before, i always had toyotas or hondas, but i crashed, and well im in need of a car. how are chryslers? good dependable cars? will my insurance go up, because i drive a chrysler? thanks.

They are rated the WORST automobiles sold in the United States. If you going per 2007, stick with Nissan, Toyota, and Honda. 2007 to 2008 consider adding Ford to that list. 2009 or newer, GM if you can get a good deal on one.

Can I buy only 2 new tires for my 2006 AWD Chrysler Pacifica?...  I've got 2 decent tires and 2 bald tires. Can I move the decent tires to the back and just buy 2 new tires for the front? I've heard some AWD cars are picky about that sort of thing.

1)   As long as they are exactly the same size as the old ones, then they will be fine. The diameter difference of new vs. worn for passenger car tires is pretty small, maybe a quarter of an inch maximum. - Jimney_Jelickers

3)   Be very careful, awd cars and trucks are extremely critical when your are talking about replacing only two tires, the reason for this is let say you but two tires that are p235/75r17, and that is the size you have on your car know(this is only an example) you would think ok there the same size as my old ones but they may not be, the true diameter of a tire can only be measure by running a tape completely around the tread.

So in my example if you buy two new tires that measure lets say 85 inches around the tread surface and yours old ones are 82 inches, the older tires will turn more than the newer tires thus causeing the awd unit to labor. Because the two ends of the car are traveling at different speeds. I know this weird but trust me if there is a small difference in size it could cause problems. - CURT W

2000 plymouth neon wont turn over starter won't run won't do anything?...  Ok i put in a new starter, new battery, new battery cables, new relay, and i made sure it is in park why won't this thing thing turn over cant even get the starter to crank unless i jump across the solenoid terminals.

2)   Well then your problem has to be something between the key, and the solenoid. Have you checked the main fuse? Not sure about the Neon, but some of today's cars have a maxi fuse guarding the starting circuit. Could also be a bad ignition switch, a bad key switch (yes they are two different switches, but may also be integrated), and, unless I miss my guess, there is a low oil pressure cut out circuit in those cars as well. Could be as simple as your oil pressure switch. Does the car keep running after you start it? Does the gauge register pressure? If the answer is yes to either of the last two questions then look towards the other two switches.

3)   your key grounds a starter relay. By grounding its pull in coil in the Neutral switch on an automatic transmission and the clutch switch in a manual trans. If you don't have this ground the starter relay will not send a signal to the small brown wire on the starter solenoid. The switches are mounted on the auto trams, on the corner of it near the front of the pan. The clutch switch is by the pedal. The plug may have come off the trans, if its a manual you can jump the clutch switch. OK - Joseph
