Question 3
If window regulator on 01' Chrysler Sebring LXI is bad would it still make the window go down?...  Its the rear driver window on a 2001 Chrysler Sebring LXI. The window motor works is ok, got a new switch and it still didn't go up but it will go down. So i figure its the regulator or some wires. I can't even push the window up all the way after I took the door panel off

Answers
1)   O man that sucks we had the same problem with our 91' town-car the window went down great but never went back up we had to change the entire thing like window motor it might be happening because of connections BUT if it was wiring connections then it shouldn't be coming down so i really think the motor is crapping out on you the best thing to do would be to change the motor and if it still doesn't work then its definitely the wiring another thing could be is that you either misaligned it when you put it back OR maybe pulled a bit too hard and slightly disconnected the wiring try taking it apart and be gentle and try then and if it still doesn't work then get a new motor for it it doesn't have to be new just get it off a scrap car and if you still have problems then its the wiring
good luck - Nata

2)   Window motor and regulator are just fine. I take that you replaced the rear door window switch, since that didn't fix the problem it is going to be a wiring problem or the master window switch. To get the window up, Take two pieces of wire and hook to the battery, disconnect the electrical plug from the window motor and touch the wires to the terminals on the motor (switch positions of wires if it doesn't go up ). Leave the motor unplugged for it doesn't go back down. - Gregory A

3)   Does the motor try to move at all when trying to roll it up?

If yes, then it's likely the regulator is bound up.

If no, then it's likely the master switch on the driver's side door, but could also be a pinched or broken wire.

If the motor is getting power to lower the window, but not to raise it, then the motor is OK, it's something before the motor causing the problem, most common cause is the master switch (all the windows go through the master switch).

If you're not sure whether it's getting any power to the motor or not, you can use a voltmeter or a test light at the connector to the motor to see if it's getting power when you hit the switch. - Mark B
