Your park brake is on
Chris

It is the tire pressure sensor.
It comes on when you have low tire pressure on one or more of your tires.

Is it inside a triangle? It is probably the warning flasher button...

Did a 1971 plymouth RoadRunner come out with a 400 engine?

i have a 1971 plymouth Road Runner. the vin says it came with a 383. but the block is a 71 400 engine... i know the 1972 RR's came with the decompressed 383 (400). not sure if its the original block. but still curious if 71 RR's every came with a 400 as an option or not
yes it is a 400 block made in 1971. and i dont know why someone would replace a 383 with a 400 block. someone told me that they might of bought it thinking it was a 383 but it could of been a factory mistake and put a 400. still labeling it as a 383. but its for sure a 400 block made in 1971.

They were called 383s , I never saw a Mopar 400, maybe you mistyped it for 440 which was a popular upgrade for only about $100, $100 was a lot of money at that time, $500 would get you a Hemi.

yes there is such thing as a dodge 400, it is a big block . the easiest way to tell is were the distributer is at and what angle its at. just google it and im sure a picture will come up.
Shawn

I1971 was the last year for 10.5 to 1 compression ratio, in 1972 they drop ed the ratio to 8.5 to 1, I cant iimagine why someone would replace a 383 with a 400. witch in my eye,s are more Boat anchor then engine
galgiere

400 was called max wedge?my pops charger had 1,year previous parts car had a nylon timing set(nylon coated),windage tray etc, dual exhaust.that is not your original block.
idontgivafork

Real answer? The 400 was not available until 72 on road runner. Check for the 8 ser numbers above the passenger side oil pan rail. The engine has probably been swapped after all these years is all.

All my power windows just quit at the same time on a 90 Chrysler New Yorker. Any thing I can check ?

90 Chrysler New yorker only 88K. I may have pushed two puttons at once but they all just quit. Anything I can check before spending money at a garage?

fuse...may be under hood/black box usually drivers side fender...or dash next to drivers left knee [under it or side where door jam is...
pedro7of9

Since it's rare that all four window motors would
go at the same time, I would suspect a blown fuse or relay.
Ferdie

Check both fuse boxes the one under the hood and inside of the vehicle more then likely its a fuse , I highly doubt it's a relay but check them just in case and it could be a wire going to the main window switch in the door panel so be sure you pop out the switch and check its wiring.

Hope that helps and best of luck.

can you fit a 90lbs dog in the back of a pt cruiser?

i want to go on a 4 hour road trip to spend a few days with friends and i want to take my 90lb rotty-shepherd with me along with my 20 month old son and wife. [My wife isn't 20 months old] will there be room for everyone's stuff in the car and fit the dog? what if i got one of those dog seat belts vs sticking the dog in the cargo area in a crate?
I dont own a PT cruiser. Was looking to rent one.

rent a bigger car , you will not be comfortable

You could probably make it work. But every time you get out of the PT Cruiser the dog may bit you, and maybe even your wife after a few miles. All cars, even the big ones, get smaller and more cramped the more you stay in them on a trip. The Cruiser would be OK with just you three. But not the dog.

How do you get to the spark plugs on a 96 chrysler concorde 3.5 ltr?

Asked by: jerry w @ 2009-07-15 20:05:28

[Best Answer]Hey shawn his cars a 96. Chrysler didnt start using COP ignition's on the LH untill 1998. So no he doesnt have to take the coils off. Maybe you should stop giving advice and go read a manual.

Moving on....

Your going to have to pull the upper intake manifold off to gain access to the plugs.Make sure you write down where each plug wire goes to keep them in order. Also replace the manifold gasket as this is a common site for intake leaks and you dont want to have to do it twice.

Its not a hard task at all, take your time and you will be fine.

They are right on top of the engine. You have to remove the ignition coils first. If you did not know this, maybe you should take it to a shop.

On those there isn't anything really in the way of removing the plugs , just label the wires and do one plug at a time and you'll be fine.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way buying a Haynes service manual for that vehicle might help you a lot.
