Everybody out there, what company do you think Chrysler should sell the Viper to?

Question 1
Everybody out there, what company do you think Chrysler should sell the Viper to?...

Answers
1)   Chrysler should sell to ford maybe then it be a great car

Chrysler dodge what ever has not been top since world war 1
been going down since then - kelly_f_1999

2)   chrysler is actually owned by mercedes-benz..
so MB would probably sell the model to...
no one - Jo

3)   They should keep it. Its one of the few good cars they have.

Jo - MB sold Chrysler a few years ago when they got done taking all the money and running them into the ground. - emiller1998

4)   No one, Anytime someone sells a car model to another manufacturer,it is instantly ruined. By the way, if Chrysler has no good vehicles, why does the 300C have the record for the largest number of vehicles sold ever on the premier ( by any manufacturer)? The second runner up is the PT Cruiser. Chrysler mini vans out sell all other brands of mini vans combined ( and started the whole genre). The Viper is one of the fastest vehicles ever made and one of the most fun to drive. Chrysler vehicles have the best warranty In the business.A LIFETIME power train warranty, the next best being 100,000 miles. Chrysler vehicles are being chosen by many police departments for their new cruisers (the Charger and Durango specifically). Dodge has the first ever mid sized pickup (Dakota). Dodge has the most powerful engines in the business in their trucks( V10 and the 6.7 liter turbo diesel) Chrysler invented the Hemi head for engines. The hemi is the most hottest engine in the world for a unmodified motor. - military supporter

5)   OK let me make some things straight here:

1) Chrysler was established from the ashes of Maxwell in 1924, which was five years after the armistice was signed to end WW I,

2) Daimler sold their Chrysler interest in 2007, they've had no ownership of the company since. A conglomerate by the name of Cerberus Capital had ownership of it until the bankruptcy filing, and now Fiat is the official suitor of Chrysler.

3) The Viper and the Viper name plate are not going anywhere just yet. Yes, 2010 is the last model year for the car, but not the last car. The newly merged corporation is going to re-tool the car.
So far everything about that at this moment is pure conjecture.

A logical path for Fiat to take is to keep the Viper as its performance halo car, and keep developing it. The Viper has proven its might around the world as a respectable racing platform. Fiat no longer has a stake in Maserati which was its performance division, so it's a no brainer. - Delamothe

Question 2
2002 Chrysler Sebring will not move in any forward or reverse gears? What could be the reason for this?...  A 2002 Chrysler Sebring LXI coupe will not move in either forward or reverse gears. The transmission is not low on fluid. The following code lights are on: P0758, P0753, P0743, P0768, P0763, and P0705. There is a very slight change in engine RPM when the transmission is in a drive gear (versus park or neutral). The engine is a 3.0L V-6 engine.
Is it possible that the electronic transmission control module could cause this problem? Or is the problem definitely inside the transmission? And if it is in the transmission, what could cause the adrupt loss of all forward and reverse gears? Right now my inclination is either a failed torque converter or hydraulic pump.
Any informative input would be appreciated.

1)   Not that it won't work at all, for any other problem at all, the computer got baked and the junk yard guy is a phebe. You need a transmission, even a boat with die its transmission. - William

2)   You need a transmission overhaul, without question. When it is taken apart, they will be able to tell you with 100% accuracy what went wrong, It would only be speculation at this point. - Mike

3)   PO758=Shift solenoid circuit problem
PO753=Shift solenoid again
PO763=same
its all in the solenoid switch
Take it to AAMCO
No anyone person can diagnose this dear sir online - The Wiseman

4)   Check all the plug in connections that you see under the hood especially the ones going to the transmission and transmission comp=TCM bec a faulty connection or bad comp can cause the transmission to not engage into gear but from the codes it sounds the torque converter and solenoid pressure switch pack or module inside the transmission is acting up.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way Id stay far away from AAMCO bec if you ask me their truly high priced and charge far too much, plus many transmission shops will offer a free diagnostic scan , also get more then one opinion if possible. It not hurt to try another TCM but even a u pick auto wrekers will want anywhere from 30 to over 100 bucks for one. - helpful bob

Question 3
thermastat or radiator problems?...  This problem only happends when is real hot. During the winter I have no problem but when is pass 90 degrees, my overflowtank overflows. Before I go out and star changin eveything, I was wondering if anyone had similar problems. A mechanic once told me it was the radiator when I suggested if it could be the termastat. But he told me the termostat either works or it dosnet. The reason I didn't trust him is because he said this without even looking at the radiotor.

I have a 1999 ford taurus

Answers
1)   I'd suggest changing the thermostat and flushing the radiator. - jnc623

2)   If it is OK in the winter I bet it really isn't does it take forever to warm up the car. I am taking a stab the thermostat is stuck open. or partially this would cause it to overheat in the summer.
I would flush the radiator and replace the thermostat. If it keeps acting up I would go after the water pump. After that there really isn't anything but replacing the radiator it may be blocked up too much to clear. A shop can test the flow of the radiator. - Uncle Red

3)   You have to check the radiator, thermostat, the fan, your a/c condensor. And no the thermostat can be part stuck open - rick b

Question 4
why is my70 Plymouth roadrunner stalling when i put it in gear?...  750 el 4b. carb. 727 trans. 440BB
750 el 4b. carb. 727 auto trans. 440BB

Answers
1)   has it been sitting for a while, do you keep the gas tank full to limit water condensing on the sides of the tank(and rusting too?) it uses the most gas on start up, so crappy gas? you should be running chevron super unleaded in that thing anyhow, plugged fuel filter, does it run good when its warmed up? water in the gas can cause poor idle, my 440 ran like crap on cheap gas - car guy

2)   You need to be sure the engine is set up correctly, idle, mixture, timing, advance. If all is good and it still stalls when in gear, its time to look at the trans and see if the converter is locking up at a very low rpm - rick b

3)   if it stalls hard when you put in drive the 727 being an automatic it is probably the torque converter - mjmik1
