Question 2
what is the smallest engine the factory put in a 1969 plymouth gtx ?...
sorry not a 440 v8 try again
ok i'll tell u that only one person got it right
Answers
1) Clarification:
Least powerful and stock was the 440ci. V8
Smallest c.i. was the 426. - Jimney_Jelickers
2) According to every thing I have researched, the 440-4bbl. - badbill1941
3) No, you are wrong, the '69 GTX came from the factory with the 440 engine. The Hemi was an option.
The Roadrunner came from the factory with the Commando 383 with the Hemi as an option and sometime in '69 the 440 became an option as well.
UPDATE: If you speaking of cubic inches, yes the Hemi was the smallest but it was an option, if you're speaking standard engine, the 440. - Don't know everything !
4) The correct answer is 426 hemi. - done wrenching
5) 426 ci was the smallest...From 67 to 71...Your only choices were 440 or 426..72 the gtx was cancelled but you could get a 73 roadrunner with gtx badging as an option and it came with a 400...Yet it was not an rs vin code or true gtx - Johnny Rotten

Question 3
Fuel Pump Replacement, is this the correct type for '97 Chrysler Sebring (convertible)?... I need to get a fuel pump for my 1997 Chrysler Sebring JXi, convertible (4cyl). I need to know if the Fuel pump is the correct one and if it would work with the vehicle properly. Thanks (go to the website listed below)
http://www.carparts.com/UNIVERSAL-SOLID-STATE-ELECTRIC-FUEL-PUMPS/GP_2005671_N_111+1997+200742006+600022087_10618.car
Answers
1) I do not think it would be wise to use this type of fuel pump on your vehicle. If you read the description it states that it is not for vehicles with fuel injection or throttle body injection. This pump will not supply enough pressure to keep your vehicle running. It may not even supply enough to start it.
Your pump is in the tank of the Sebring and is a very high pressure pump and needs to be replaced with the same thing. - deljack05
2) Will it work...yes, but not without some modifications. That fuel pump was not made specifically for your car. It is a cheap, low quality universal fuel pump that can be used in any vehicle but it must be modified to do so. It may not even be powerful enough for your application. More importantly, I would not trust a $35 fuel pump.
Here is a link to NAPA's website where they offer the correct fuel pump for your vehicle. They are a lot more expensive, but they are the correct part for your vehicle.

3) No, its not for your car. Go to a auto parts store or the dealer and get a good quality pump. - C-Tech
4) As the other answers indicate, avoid universal-style fuel pumps. You want a direct-replacement fuel pump built specifically for your car by a well-respected company. The link below will take you to a website that sells a high quality Walbro fuel pump specifically for your 1997 Chrysler Sebring 4 Cylinder 2.0L. This fuel pump comes with a 90 day / 4000 mile warranty.

Question 4
Chrysler recall postcard in the mail- just a ploy to get people into the shop?... I received in the mail a postcard about my car having a product recall and the name of a local Chrysler shop to get the item replaced free of charge. Is this some ploy to get people into the garage so they can find other "problems" with the car or is this legit?
Hmm, true but the last thing people want to hear is a bunch of other problems with the car and it seems every time there's a list of issues.
Answers
1) And how would that ploy work?
They can't force you to do anything with your car.
So it's not like they're getting money out of you.
And if they find things, and you decide to ignore it, and it causes problems later....then they can just say "told you so..."
Edit: That's funny, because when I take my cars in for repairs, I don't get a list of issues. Because I take care of my car, and make sure there's nothing that it could need.
What you can always do is take the car to a second mechanic, and if they give you the same list of things.....they're not trying to get money out of you, they're trying to get you to maintain your vehicle better. - Vipassana
2) It's possible..... Does it actually say a manufacturers recall ?? Does it mention your car correctly ?? If you're leary, go in and ask, don't sign anything, and get a written estimate on the work. Get an estimate even if they say it's free... That way they can't change their minds later. Now, I will also say that I've not heard of a scam like that, but, why take a chance ?? - rick29148
3) We got one too, for the wiper blade engine on our dodge ram pick up. It's legit, and good customer service. If you don't get it fixed, you might be sorry, and they won't go around checking anything else unless you pay them to. Even if they did you would have to agree to them servicing anything else. - Baby Kingston Born Aug 31st!!
4) I am sure this is legit, but I have to ask a question, if you have other problems with your car wouldn't you want to have them fixed, most shops tell you whats wrong because that's there job, you are the type of person that if you came into my shop today for an oil change and I noticed your tie rods loose and I didn't tell you because well you dont want to hear and you left and the tie rod end broke and you lost your steering you would sue me and ask why I didn't tell you. I have a piece of advise, dont go to a repair shop drive that car till it falls apart int he middle of the street and then trade it in and buy a new one. - CURT W

Im thinking about getting a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country LX minivan.?... If you have or had one, how did you like it?
Answers
1) i would go with it. with or without stow'n go they are very comfortable and reliable. My parents have owned a 1991,1997,2001 dodge caravans all lasted for a long time and i grew up in those vans. very comfortable when going on vacations. now we have the 2009 town and country with the stow;n go. they are the best. Good luck and i really recommend u buy that van!!! - Curse Stops in 09
2) I had the earlier 2003 minivan. The only problem I had with van was the power steering rack and the front sway bar links wearing out too soon. They were covered under 3/36 warranty. No problems after 100,000 miles, still strong. No engine problems, no trans problems. Very versatile, better than a truck when you need both cargo room and seats for 6 or 7. - C-Tech
3) the Chrysler mini van is good and nice. The only problem to be honest is reliability. I Prefer the Hyundai entourage. but if you like it get it. I have a 2003 town and country limited. Great van. Only thing it keeps getting problems. But i Still like it and enjoy it. - dellreyna1984
4) fo for it i have a tandc 1998 and i love it. - pro republican
