Question 2
my pt cruiser's wheel jiggles @40-60 mph i have changed the rim &all tires balanced the whole 9 need help?... now i hear a(metal) grinding noise when turning wheels ,the axle on that side (frt. pass)
Answers
1) the axle shafts have cv joints and they can be loose or the car may have a bad brake caliper and that can cause it - ken k
2) I suspect you have a bad axle. Check the joints at each axle, may be loose or worn. - C-Tech
3) *pukes that you bought a PT*
Regardless of what the problem is, there's most likely a fairly cheap fix.
Get yourself an alignment, and if that doesn't fix it ask your mechanic.
If he/she can't help you, then you learned your lesson. :) - Steve
4) alot of times, especially on the pt cruisers, the front hub bearings will go out causing a vibration and noise, get those looked at and also the cv shaft, but most likely the hub bearings will take care of your problem. - Brian H
5) I'm not a mechanic, but had a simular problem with my 2000 Voyager. The brake lines running to the caliper have metal clamps to hold them away from the tire and they rusted, causing the fluid to not release from the caliper properly. Had the lines replaced and the problem went away. Since the brakes were not releasing all the way, the rotors were heating up causing the vibration in the front wheels. - Wayne

Question 3
Should i buy a chrysler sebring?... I am looking into buying a 1997 chrysler sebring and i want to know what i should look for or if they are good reliable cars in general?
Answers
1) Toyotas and Acuras are the most reliable. They can last 300,000 miles as long as you change the oil every 3,000 miles like you're supposed to. A 97 Sebring is likely to be a dog that will suck away your income like a big vacuum. - UrbanPhotos
2) Sorry to be a downer, but DO NOT BUY THIS CAR.
Chryslers have a terrible reputation for reliability,
and the sebring in particular has been plagued
with problems. Example: every sebring owner
I've ever met has found that their rear electric windows don't work. There are problems with
the poorly made transmissions, steering linkage, brake rotors, etc, etc. For unbiased reviews of
the cars you are considering, I recommend going to the edmunds.com website and reading the 'owners reviews' section. A little info like this goes a long way to saving you money in repairs. - Mystic WOLF
3) NO! its a piece of crap.
DONT. - roxi
4) i am looking for 2004 chrysler sebring and i asked almost the same question one of the answers was like that :
My mom has a '97 Chrysler T&C minivan, with about 167k miles, and it's been a great vehicle - it's held up very well and has been very reliable.
i want to buy the car, but i didnot talk to anyone who had it before. - khaled
5) no don't get.junk.my EX landlord bought one.and all she had was NOTHING but trouble. - *angel eyes*

Question 4
Bad Gas in my 2002 Pt Cruiser. I had someone put a can of very old gas in my car and now it wont start.?... The car ran for one night after the gas was put in but now it wont start. I can get it to start with starting fluid but runs real rough and dies in about 30 seconds
Answers
1) buy a bottle of fuel treatment and new gas - kelly_f_1999
2) Most 'bad' gas won't run unless the engine is warmed up. The best way to solve the problem is to fill the tank with fresh gas, or at least add some to the bad gas to dilute it and go ahead and burn it out. - Jackolantern
3) Try adding 3 cans or so of fresh gas and if it keeps dying after 3 or 4 tries with the ether your fuel filter probably got plugged up when it ran out of gas because it may have sucked rust and stuff out of the tank so check the fuel filter. Next check to make sure the fuel pump is working. - Jimbob
4) Sounds like you have plugged up the fuel injector system. If your gas tank is less than half full I would strongly suggest buying enough gas to fill the tank and add a can of fuel injector cleaner. Problem is it is going to take a long while to get the old gas in the line out of the fuel injection system so that the cleaner and new gas can do the job. - howard
5) You put in bad gas AND using starting fluid on a car engine. Step away from the car. - Frankie Coletta

Question 5
'92 Chrysler New Yorker Radio not working?... I recently acquired a new yorker with a non functional sound system I tested the radio in another Chrysler and it does function however in the new yorker i get nothing on the display and no audio. I have replaced the fuses. Any ideas on where to go from here?
The radio itself works. I tested it in another car. However any radio i put in the new yorker does not.
Answers
1) get a new radio - Josh Timmons
2) Check to see if you are getting power and ground at the radio connector with the ignition on. If not, and you have replaced both fuses, then you have a wiring problem. - C-Tech
3) Of the 2 radio connectors, one will have a red wire at the very end of the connector. This is the hot wire when the ignition is on. The next is the memory and should be hot all the time. I don't remember where the ground is, but it should be black and maybe with a dotted tracer. Also the radio grounds with a bare braided wire on th back. All these have to be functional except the memory circuit for the radio to work. If the memory circuit isn't always hot, then the clock won't work and the station memory will go away when the key is turned off. - Jackolantern
4) Sounds like the supply of power from the fuse box to the radio is disrupted by a broken wire or the ground connection to the radio is no good. Since you have replaced the fuse, it is obviously not the problem unless the fuse blew again. Chances are there is a break in the wiring or in the connector itself. Since you know the radio does work it is the only logical conclusion.
You need to check the voltage at the connector with a volt-ohm meter and make sure the ground wire actually goes to a good clean chassis ground. Don't forget to carefully look at the car side of the electrical connector. - howard
